The pressure-ridden 25 April 2011 adoption of the Hungarian Fundamental Law gave the idea to map the attributes of the “nation” concept in Hungarian constitutional thought and regulation. Analysis shall be conducted from a comparative constitutional legal and international legal point of view, complemented with the examination of political, cultural and ethnic aspects as well, because these approaches orient the outcome of any legal examination.
